Billing & Claims
Interim payment certificates prepared on a fixed monthly cycle with all abstracts, deductions, recoveries and tax positions already reconciled — so the engineer's only remaining task is to sign.
Overview
Slow certification is rarely caused by a client who does not want to pay. It is caused by bills that arrive incomplete — abstracts that do not tie to the measurement book, deductions computed differently each month, recoveries and retention that nobody can reconcile. Each query resets the clock.
We prepare bills that leave nothing to query. The abstract ties to the MB, every deduction and recovery is computed on a stated basis, the tax position is reconciled, and the supporting documents are indexed and attached. Clients on our billing retainer typically see certification turnaround fall by around forty percent within two cycles.
Scope
Every element below is covered as standard. Anything outside it is quoted separately and agreed before we begin.
Bill abstract compiled directly from measurement book entries, item by item, tying exactly to the recorded quantity.
Retention, mobilisation advance recovery, material advance, liquidated damages and other deductions computed on a consistent stated basis.
VAT, TDS and other statutory positions reconciled and presented in the format the paying authority requires.
Test certificates, approvals, photographs and instructions indexed and attached to the items they support.
Approved variations and escalation entitlement incorporated into the running bill so entitlement is not carried unclaimed.
Closing reconciliation of all quantities, variations, claims, deductions and retention release into a defensible final account.
Our Approach
01
Bills go out on the same date every month. Predictable billing produces predictable cash flow, and irregular billing invites scrutiny.
02
The abstract ties to the MB and the deductions tie to the contract before the bill leaves our desk. Queries are the exception, not the routine.
03
Approved variations and escalation are swept into each bill. Unclaimed entitlement sitting in a drawer helps nobody.

A bidding document, a contract, a stalled bill, a stack of unrecorded measurements — whatever the position, a senior engineer will review it and come back within one working day with a written assessment, a timeline and a fixed price. There is no charge for this and nothing to sign.
