Serving Nepal's construction industry since 2014

Engineering precision, delivered behind the scenes.

Parengyali is your trusted engineering back office partner — the team that prepares the tender you win, the rate analysis that holds up under scrutiny, the measurement book that survives audit, and the bill that gets certified on time. You build. We handle everything that proves it.

Who We Are

The quiet engine behind well-run projects across Nepal.

Parengyali was founded in 2014 by civil engineers who had spent a decade watching capable contractors lose good work for avoidable reasons — a bid submitted with one missing certificate, a rate analysis that could not be defended, a measurement book reconstructed months too late, a legitimate claim that expired because nobody filed the notice in time.

We built the firm to close that gap. Today our Kathmandu desk functions as a shared engineering back office for contractors, design consultants and public agencies across all seven provinces. Our engineers rarely appear on the signboard, and that is precisely the point: our job is to make sure yours is the name that stays on it.

Our Mission

Give every builder access to documentation quality that used to belong only to the largest firms.

Our Vision

A construction sector where contracts are won on merit and settled on evidence, not on argument.

Our Values

Accuracy before speed, evidence before opinion, confidentiality without exception.

What We Deliver

One partner for everything between the drawing and the payment.

Twenty-three connected services in four disciplines, delivered by one accountable team. Engage us for a single tender, an entire contract lifecycle, or a permanent extension of your technical department — the standard of work does not change.

How We Work

A process built to remove surprises.

Six stages, the same every time, whether the assignment is a single rate analysis or a three-year contract administration retainer. You always know which stage you are in and what happens next.

01 — Enquiry & Scoping

STAGE 01

Enquiry & scoping

Send us the bidding document, the contract, or simply a description of the problem. Within one working day a senior engineer reviews it and comes back with what is actually required, what it will take, and what it will cost. No charge, no obligation.

STAGE 02

Proposal & agreement

You receive a written scope listing every deliverable, the delivery date for each, the named engineer responsible, and the fee. Once you accept, that document governs the engagement — it does not quietly change halfway through.

STAGE 03

Data & document intake

We set up a secure project workspace and issue a single consolidated information request. One list, one time, so your team is not chased repeatedly for documents throughout the assignment.

STAGE 04

Engineering & production

The assigned team executes the work — take-off, rate build-up, drafting, documentation, claim preparation. You receive a short progress note at agreed intervals, and immediate escalation the moment we find something that changes your position.

STAGE 05

Independent review

A second engineer who did not produce the work checks it against source documents and, for tenders, against the instructions to bidders clause by clause. Nothing reaches you until it has cleared this gate.

STAGE 06

Delivery & aftercare

Deliverables are handed over in both editable and final formats, with the working files included so you are never locked in. We stay available for clarifications and follow-up submissions at no extra charge for thirty days.

Technology & Standards

Modern tools, applied by people who know what the output means.

Software does not produce a defensible rate or a credible programme on its own. We invest in current licensed tools and in the engineering judgement to interrogate what they return — because an unchecked model is just a confident-looking mistake.

Every deliverable is produced in a format your team and your client's approving authority can open, edit and audit. Working files are always handed over with the final output — no locked spreadsheets, no values-only exports, no consultant holding your project hostage through file ownership.

Client Reviews

What clients say when the contract is closed.

Collected at project completion, published with written permission. An average of 4.9 out of 5 across 118 completed engagements.

We had lost three consecutive bids on documentation grounds and could not work out why. Parengyali reviewed our last submission, found four compliance gaps in an afternoon, and rebuilt the next one from scratch. We won it. They have prepared every tender we have submitted since.

Our measurement book was fourteen months behind on a seven-site programme and payments had stopped entirely. Their team reconstructed the records from drawings and site photographs, and four interim certificates were released within two months. I did not think that was recoverable.

The escalation claim they prepared for our Pokhara package was accepted in full, without a single query from the client's engineer. Every index, every base period, every calculation was laid out so clearly there was nothing left to argue about.

We needed two sub-engineers and a surveyor in Karnali within ten days. Parengyali had all three on site in eight, with credentials verified and a support engineer in Kathmandu they could call. They stayed for the full contract duration.

As a design consultancy we were nervous about outsourcing quantity work. Three years on, their BOQs are cleaner than the ones we produced internally, and the take-off sheets are always attached. It has let our engineers go back to designing.

They audited our own records before the client did, told us plainly what could not be substantiated, and helped us correct it. Uncomfortable meeting, but it saved a difficult conversation later and we have used them on every contract since.

An engineering back office handles the documentation, quantification and compliance workload that sits behind every construction contract — rate analysis, BOQ preparation, tender compilation, measurement books, running bills, claims and reporting. Most contractors lose tenders or delay payments not because of poor site work, but because this paperwork is prepared late, inconsistently, or by staff who are already stretched. We absorb that workload so your engineers stay on site and your submissions arrive complete, accurate and on schedule.

For a standard building or road package we deliver a complete, checked submission set within five to seven working days of receiving the bidding documents. For large multi-lot or international competitive bidding packages we plan the schedule backwards from the deadline and share a daily progress tracker. Where a deadline is under 72 hours we run a dedicated priority desk — we have compiled and submitted compliant bids in as little as 36 hours, though we will always tell you honestly if the timeline puts quality at risk.

Yes. Our team prepares and uploads submissions through the e-GP portal daily, and we are familiar with the technical formats, digital signature requirements, bid security formats and clarification workflows used by the Department of Roads, the Department of Water Supply and Sewerage Management, the Department of Urban Development and Building Construction, provincial ministries and local municipalities. We upload well before the closing window and send you the confirmation receipt the same day.

That is one of our most common assignments. We begin with a documentation audit — reconstructing the measurement book, verifying quantities against approved drawings, rebuilding the bill history and identifying unclaimed variation, escalation and time-extension entitlements. Clients are frequently surprised by how much certified value was sitting unclaimed in incomplete records. The audit itself is quoted as a fixed fee so you know the cost before committing.

All three models are available. Tender support is normally priced per submission, documentation and billing support runs on a monthly retainer tied to the number of active contracts, and manpower deployment is charged per deployed engineer per month. Technical audits and claim preparation are quoted as fixed-fee assignments after a scoping call. Every engagement starts with a written scope and fee schedule — there are no variable hourly surprises and no charge for asking a question.

Absolutely. Every engagement begins with a signed non-disclosure agreement, and every team member is bound by an individual confidentiality undertaking. Client data is stored in access-controlled, project-segregated workspaces, we never work on two competing bids for the same package, and rate libraries built for one client are never reused for another. If we are already engaged on a package you are bidding, we will tell you immediately and decline.

Yes. We deploy licensed civil engineers, sub-engineers, quantity surveyors, land surveyors and site supervisors on short-term, project-duration or long-term placement. Every deployed professional is pre-verified for Nepal Engineering Council registration where applicable, screened for relevant project-type experience, and supported remotely by our Kathmandu technical desk so they are never working alone on an unfamiliar detail.

Our deliverables are produced in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project and advanced Excel-based quantity and rate models. We work to the Nepal National Building Code, Nepal Road Standards, applicable District Rate schedules, the Public Procurement Act and Regulations, and to FIDIC conditions of contract where the project applies them. Working files are always handed over alongside the final output.
