Why this matters on your contract
The measurement book is the primary contemporaneous record of what was built. Everything downstream — the interim certificate, the variation valuation, the final account — rests on it. Yet on many contracts the MB is written up weeks after the work, from memory and rough notes, by whoever is least busy.
We treat measurement as a scheduled discipline. Work is measured jointly at the right moment, recorded in the correct format, cross-checked against approved drawings, and signed progressively rather than in a single retrospective exercise. Contractors who run measurement this way spend a fraction of the time defending their bills.

What the service includes

Drawing cross-check
Every measured quantity verified against approved drawings, with any excess over drawing quantity flagged before it reaches the bill.
Covered-work recording
Measurement and photographic recording of work about to be concealed — reinforcement, formation, buried services.
Progressive certification
MB pages signed as work proceeds rather than in a single exercise at bill preparation.
MB reconstruction
Rebuilding incomplete or missing measurement records from drawings, site records, photographs and correspondence.

Yes. Our deployed engineers and surveyors attend site on the agreed measurement cycle, or we can train and support your existing site team to the same standard if you prefer.
Whichever the contract and the client department require — DoR, DUDBC, municipal and donor-funded project formats all differ. We confirm the required format before starting.
